Leukocoria

White pupil = retinoblastoma until proven otherwise.

  • Differential: retinoblastoma, Coats disease, PFV, congenital cataract, ROP, toxocariasis, coloboma, retinal detachment.
  • Refer urgently for dilated exam under anesthesia, ultrasound (calcification in Rb) and MRI (avoid CT radiation in Rb, esp. germline).
